In 2012 we made our 2nd visit to
Burma. With the relaxation of certain
restrictions, and the up and coming elections,
people could now talk openly about
politics, and their hopes and dreams
for a changing country. We saw calenders
and T shirts for sale picturing
Aung San Suu Kyi! Even a couple of
Pro-Democracy stalls handing out leaflets.
So different from 5 years ago.
The people however had not changed,
they were as open and gracious as ever.
